Luxury Spirits in Pink and Navy

Brad Pitt-linked rosé costs more than twice Gary Barlow’s Malbec, while the celebrity spirits sampled range from £26 to an eye-watering £66.75 a bottle.

Celebrity booze could be on the Christmas shopping list for fans of everyone from Kylie Minogue to George Clooney. With bottles in this comparison ranging from £8.25 to £66.75, shoppers have plenty of famous names to choose from across different budgets. The digital PR team here at JBH have crunched the numbers for 2026.

Could It Be Malbec? Gary Barlow tops the wine value ranking

Gary Barlow’s Malbec takes the best-value spot by volume among the wines sampled. At £8.25 for a 750ml bottle, it works out at £1.10 per 100ml and £1.93 per 175ml glass.

At the other end of the ranking is Brad Pitt-linked Miraval Provence Rosé. Its £19.50 bottle price works out at £4.55 per glass, more than twice the cost of Gary Barlow’s red.

The bottles contain the same 750ml volume, leaving an £11.25 gap at the checkout. Miraval is 136% more expensive by volume in the comparison.

Jon Bon Jovi and Jesse Bongiovi’s Hampton Water rosé follows at £18 a bottle, equivalent to £4.20 per glass.

The Delevingne sisters’ Della Vite rosé Prosecco is £15 at the public sale price recorded, down from £22.25. Using the same 175ml measure for comparison, that works out at £3.50 a glass.

You Should Be So Lucky to find celebrity rosé under £10

Kylie Minogue’s rosé makes the under-£10 list at £9.75 for 750ml, equivalent to £2.28 per 175ml glass.

Alongside Gary Barlow’s Malbec and Gordon Ramsay’s £9.25 Intenso Rosso, it is one of three wines sampled priced below £10 without a loyalty discount.

Gordon’s red works out at £2.16 per glass, placing it between Gary and Kylie in the wine value ranking.

Kano’s rum tops the spirits value ranking

Kano’s Duppy White rum is the best-value spirit by volume in the sample, priced at £26 for a 700ml bottle. That works out at £3.71 per 100ml.

The highest-priced spirit sampled is Dos Hombres Espadín Mezcal, from the brand founded by Breaking Bad actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.

Its £66.75 price tag is equivalent to £9.54 per 100ml, leaving a £40.75 gap between the lowest and highest-priced spirits in the study.

Dos Hombres costs around 2.57 times as much by volume as Duppy White. These are different types of spirits with different ingredients and production methods.

Keeping Up with Kendall comes with a £44.25 price tag

Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila Blanco costs £44.25 for 700ml, equivalent to £6.32 per 100ml.

It sits between George Clooney-linked Casamigos Blanco at £47.75 and Dwayne Johnson’s Teremana Blanco at £41.50.

All three bottles contain 700ml, making Casamigos £6.25, or 15%, more expensive than Teremana at the recorded prices.

For shoppers choosing between the three celebrity-associated blanco tequilas, Teremana has the lowest price by volume in the sample.

Hermione’s gin puts a £45 spell on your wallet

Emma and Alex Watson’s Renais gin carries a £45 price tag for 700ml, equivalent to £6.43 per 100ml.

Among the three gins sampled, Ryan Reynolds-associated Aviation has the lowest price at £31, while Margot Robbie’s Papa Salt Coastal Gin sits between them at £36.75.

Celebrity booze on a Christmas budget

The comparison gives gift shoppers several options below £10 for wine and below £40 for spirits.

Gary Barlow, Gordon Ramsay and Kylie Minogue feature in the under-£10 wine group. Kano’s Duppy White, Aviation and Papa Salt are the spirits sampled below £40.

Checking the bottle size and price per 100ml helps shoppers compare costs before buying. For wines, the calculated price per 175ml glass gives another way to see how the shelf price translates into each pour.

The PR behind the famous names

Celebrity booze also offers a useful look at how PR builds brand recognition. In our PR F.A.M.E Audit of Aviation American Gin, JBH CEO Jane Hunt explores how Ryan Reynolds’ brand used celebrity attention and reactive campaigns to build its reputation, and what other brands can learn from its approach.

Methodology and price sources

JBH compared a selected sample of 18 celebrity-associated bottles using public UK retailers and brand prices checked on 6 October 2026.

The comparison uses VAT-inclusive single-bottle prices without loyalty membership.

Ordinary public sale prices are included and flagged; delivery charges, discount codes and multi-bottle reductions are excluded.

Cost per 100ml = bottle price ÷ bottle volume × 100.

Cost per 175ml glass = bottle price ÷ bottle volume × 175.

Figures are rounded to two decimal places. The rankings measure retail cost by volume and do not assess taste, quality or the amount attributable to celebrity branding. Prices may change before Christmas.
